Default Friendship?

There is this situation going on with some people I know and I want your point of view about it. Fake names will be used to 'protect' the real id's of the ones involved. Is No one from this board so dun't worry about it.

Joe and Peter are 'friends' BUT Joe is also friends with John. Peter don't want Joe to attend his party since he's friends with John. Unless Joe breaks his friendship with John; Peter will let Joe attend his party. What's up with that??Can this be called 'real friendship?

That doesnt even make sense to me. He can go to the party if hes not friends with him? Then why go to the party?

I don't think Peter cares if Joe is friends with John, it's just that Peter found out that Joe was bad mouthing him after he said he wasn't. (at least that's the way Peter explained it to me) A lot of people are friends with both Peter and John and Peter lets them come to his party!

It just seems like Peter has paranoia and can't sleep at nite so he has to follow Joe everywhere he goes to make sure he's talked about. And that he had hired 'spies' to go around the boards copying/pasting msgs to make sure he's getting badmouthed really bad.

LOL!!!

Peter needs to get his priorities straight, and Joe is still wondering what he said to upset baby-face Peter. Peter is probably badmouthing Joe too, so that makes them even-steven. LOL

Peter is definitely guilty about something..

Yeah; but at least Joe/John can admit about the 'talk' unlike Peter that will always deny he talks behind anyone's back.

Yeah, this is totally confusing. If youre looking for advice, you should probably explain better, or take it to the PM with your friend.

In my opinion there was no real friendship between Joe and Peter. I think Joe just pretended to like Peter to get invited to the "party". He kept posting things like, how many parties of Peters did you go to, or gee I'd sure like to go to Peter's party or I sure treasure the parties of his I went to.

If there was a real friendship then Joe wouldn't have badmouthed Peter. And just for the record I don't think Peter badmouthed Joe at all. At least I never heard him.

And I'm sure Joe knows what he said to upset Peter, because as soon as Peter mentioned that someone was no longer invited to his party, Joe sure as hell knew it was him!

And Desilover, the way the boards are, I'm sure he had tons of people willing to spy for him free of charge.

Which is a very childish thin' to do. If he wasn't paranoid about people talking behind his back; he don't need any spies and even do 'the job' himself
