Does anyone know what font the title was done in?

I think I found it. What do you all think? The font style is called Turkey Sandwich.

I've been trying to help you look, but no luck yet.
That's close, but not quite. Note the difference in the "Ds" and "Vs."

I was thinking that maybe it was a combination of two different fonts, but I'm not sure what the other one is.

This one is definitely it. What do you all think? There are only a few minor differences. The font file came with a few different variations, so I'm going to experiment a little with it. I found it at this website: http://www.smackbomb.com/famousfonts...ndykeshow.html

It IS very close. Carrie, you are doing a FABULOUS job on your web site. I wonder if Doug Denoff has seen it. Yours may become the go-to website for all Dick Van Dyke Show fans.

Yes, it is an amazing website, Carrie.

If you are looking for the exact font, then why not try to contact Paul B. (don't know how to spell his last name!) or any of the people that have made this release possible. they would have to know the exact font, as it appears on the front cover of all the seasons' releases.

Here's another. Just select "Dick Van Dyke" from the drop window.

I'll bet no one would have suspected 40 years ago that we'd using computers and fonts to keep up the image of the show!

Thanks everyone!

I talked with David Van Deusen and he agreed that the font that I found at the Famous Fonts website is pretty close to the original. I was able to download it at the author's website (also the link that Steve provided above

). I'm still working on changing the watermarks on the pictures in the image gallery, but I'm hoping to have some images up from some new episodes this week. I'll be sure to keep you all updated. Thanks again for your nice comments about my website!
