If you have digital cable, I have a question. I just got digital cable, and the cable box comes with a remote that controls channels and volume. I taped the reunion movie on my living room TVset where I have the digital cable and taped the fandemonium in my bedroom where I have regular cable. I missed a lot of the reunion because my three year old was sick this weekend and I was taking care of her. When I sat down to watch it this afternoon, there was no sound. I could see the picture, but there was just a loud echo for sound and the character's voices were faint, like background noise. If a mute the cable box and just use the TV sound, it is a little better, but still very hard to hear. I am so upset. I cried for an hour. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I am probably just out of luck, but I promised a friend that he could watch it this weekend when he comes up for Thanksgiving. If you know how I can get the sound back, or even what I did wrong so I can prevent this disaster from happening again I would appreciate a reply. Thanks!

I have digital cable but have never experienced a problem like that. Try using your remote and turning up the volume on the converter box because that will affect the taping results.
Let us know how you make out. |

I never experienced that problem, however, when we got digital cable we were told taping things on it would not come out great. So we never did. I usually tape things in my bedroom where we have normal cable.
To keep safe from now on try taping on just normal cable. ------------------ ************************ Love Always and Forever, ************************ XoXo *Cassie* XoXo ************************ |

Thanks for the help! I guess I'll know better than to tape on it next time. I really want to see this movie. If anyone would be willing to make me a copy of the reunion I would greatly appreciate it. I'll pay you for the tape and postage. If anyone could do this, you can e-mail me at TootieFan@AOL.com.

I do not have digital cable but I would suggest turning up the volume. That happened to me once when I taped on ABC but no other times. My only other suggestion would be to get on ebay and try and buy the movie from someone.
