It used to be funny when John would dramatically tear his off, always entirely gratuitously, before doing something heroic. Now it's just getting downright bloody stupid! Put a shirt on Brady, damn it! And don't even get me started on Shawn...

Ugh.

LOL, my mom and I comment on this all the time. I have no idea why they constantly have a guy running around with no shirt on but it's getting ridiculous.

Another thing I'm getting sick of is all the crude sexual references (Ie. "I'll trade you my bon-bons for your eclaire," etc..). Of all my years of watching DAYS the references (if any at all) never got this bad.

I would agree, I've been watching DAYS since 1995 and never has it been this bad. Not too long ago in one episode, Patrick, Brady, Shawn and Lucas were all strutting around (casually) with no shirt on.

Brady is by far the one seen the most without his shirt and it has gotten really old.

The show targets housewives and teenage girls, so of course they are going to have shirtless men running around.

This is the standard for all soaps in general -- not just "Days."

However, if they must go shirtless -- at least grow some chest hair!

Ah, well I only see Days (and that only occasionally, since they axed it in the UK. No fair!), but it must be only in recent years that it's gone that way? In Sunset Beach only the lifeguards wandered around half dressed. Even their flagship heartthrob, Ben, was always wearing a shirt. Like I said up above, in the old days John would go tearing his shirt off at unexpected moments whilst being heroic, and the rest of the time they'd all be fully dressed. Which is kinda preferable.

Now it's just plain daft!
