Post *What I did NOT like about the Reunion*

Well, I kind of liked it. It was great at the beginning, but as the storyline progressed it began to die down. Here is what I didn't like:

- (No offense to Natalie Fans), but I can't imagine 2 guys wanted to be with Natalie. I think that it should of been BLAIR. Natalie should have been the married one.

- (Something everyone agrees with) More characters should have been in it. (Jo especially!!!) In my opinion, it was not a reunion since only four people were there. It was just a get to gether movie thing to me.

- During the end of the FOL series, Blair didn't seem to be snotty anymore much. She seemed more mature. She was like she was during the beginning of the series in the movie.

- People probably disagree with me on this, but, during the end of the series (And throughout the WHOLE series) Blair basically stuck to wearing a normal dress and top..What's with the feathers? Lol, It was kewl, but I thought her clothing wouldn't change that much (Why all of the sudden SO rich?)

- I think the movie centered around more of Natalie and the 2 guys rather than the cast. That disappointed me greatly.

Overall it was, well, alright. I excpected it to be better though.

Well if your saying that on looks wise, don't always judge a book by it's cover. I think Natalie had a great sense of humor, and a great personality last night, and through out all 9 seasons.

I am not judging her looks. I know she had a great personality and was funny. But IMHO, I feel Blair should have had the reunion focus around her.

And no, and I not judging a book by its cover, so dont say I am.

cool it- I didn't say that you were definitely judging a book by it's cover, I was just throwing the expression out.

I think that if all of the girls- by this i mean Jo, Blair, Nat and Tootie- could not be in it then they should not have done it.

I think the 2 boyfriends thing was a bit distracting. I mean, I know that was the basic plot, but i wish they'd done more w/ the girls and Mrs. G. just reminiscing and visiting Eastland.

I'm just glad they didn't do something stupid like kill off Jo,,,now something like that would really make it difficult for me to watch all of the old episodes.

The whole plot of the movie may have been a bit lame,,,but it was really nostalgic to see the girls....I must agree, though, that I thought Blair had moved beyond most of the snotty behavior during the last seasons of fol.

Tootie: Muffy? Her name is Muffy? What kind of person is named Muffy?

Jo: Beats me, Tootie.

You cant hold that against the people that made the reunion. They wanted Blair to be more mature and to have found God. Lisa wanted Blair to be snobby. I dont blame her, Blair is much more fun like that.

Yes, I agree. Blair was a bit more mature towards the end, but she still had that air about her. I enjoyed her the way she was portrayed in the reunion movie!
As for the clothes, Blair moved into the 21st century just as everyone else did.
Blair was Blair, and I loved that about her. Some people just never change! I would have loved to see her and Jo together again...it would've been SO much fun. I really missed the chemistry Lisa and Nancy had together during their FOL years.

Ditto. Also...I thought Jamie didn't have a solid characta. When she first came in she was Jo's mini-me. Then she was...painting her nails?!?!?! Then she was playing touch-football...a "JO" thing. Then she was playing the electric guitar..."Jo". But when she was sneaking out...she was asking...did Aunt Blair say u can take the car?...that is definetely not a "Jo" line. Also when she first came in she was tough 4 the first 5 seconds...then she had this niceness about her. I also didn't like that Raymond thought she was a guy. First...that was Jo...Blair and Nat thought she was a guy...it was a lil overkill to have her daughter be called a guy. I also thought that it was odd that they thought she was a guy for some otha reasons.
1.)Back in the 80's the clothes Jo was wearing were less...girly...Blair and Nat were all were wearing skirts.
2.)Nowadays...girls were jeans.
3.)I think if u got past the biker helmet the clothes were definetely girls clothes.
4.)Um...did NEone see um...above the stomach below the neck...like um...the chest area...it wasn't looking like a guy if u get what I m saying. Jo had the loose jean jacket on so it was less obvious.
Besides that I thought the reunion was pretty good...Jo was DEFINETELY missed!!
