Blair's mention of Geri - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Ok I thought it was a little wierd that Blair was telling the kids about her cousin Geri and she said she was afraid when Geri came to Eastland because she didn't want anyone to associate Geri's disability with her. But I distinctly remember in that episode Blair was resentful of Geri coming to Eastland because of all of the attention that Geri got, Blair was afraid that people would pay more attention to Geri than her or something. It didn't have anything to do with what Blair told the kids. Does anyone else remember this?

Yes, when I saw Blair saying that, I thought back, and in the episode, Cousin Geri, they made a point out of the fact that Blair was jealous of Geri, not embarrassed of her.

I'd say the writes missed a bunch of episodes. I wonder if those who wrote the script for the reunion movie ever even watched FOL. They definately should have consulted us first!

It was weird that she mentioned Geri and I do remember that she was jealous...not embarrased. But did NEone notice that Geri was neva mentioned since that ep. in the 5th season(I forget what it was). It was about like that auction and Blair did all the work. Then she was mentioned in the movie. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
