Roseanne mentions to Darlene that Becky couldn't go.

This is because Becky already eloped with Mark before Becky was able to celebrate...she got married with him beggining of her senior year in High School.

See, that's what I'm confused about as well. The tag scene shows it dark in their hotel room, and you can hear them talking and kissing. The next episode shows when they finally did it. So when was their first time? It's confusing....

I think that last scene where they were in the hotel again was some kind of joke... I don't know if that counts as their first time....

The last scene of Promises Promises was a joke. In tooth or consequences was their first time because David says "we finally did it".

Yeah, that's what I thought. It just threw me off when that tag scene had Darlene say, "So, David, are we ready to have sex yet?" The audience begins laughing.
