It seemed that during the first and second season of Barney Miller, that Harris tend to wear this one particular suit a lot; it was a two piece, gray colored pants and matching jacket with blue and red stripes; which he usually wore with a solid red tie, or the ocassional (typical 1970's tie) a multi-designed number that did not match the suit
or he wore a dark gray pants with a lighter gray,sports jacket with a variety of different ties; by the second season I noticed that he was starting to wear just a shirt with a vest, and by the third season, is when his wardrobe started to expand; he wore a gorgeous, three pieced suit that was a silver/gray in color in the two part Quaratine episodes, which he also wore during the Stirke Part One; also during the third season, he started to wear this three-pieced, tan colored suit...But my all time favorite suit of Harris, was this three-pieced, colbat blue number, that he wore once during the 3rd season, and a couple of times during the fourth...

Oh man, I loved Harris' wardrobe. He was classy.

Gotta love his extra wide ties and lapels.
But he sure had class and style.
