Default Falcon Crest's Jane Wyman

With the passing of Ronald Reagan, did his first wife die? A newscaster mentioned she had. I haven't read anything to say she had. I only heard her name mentioned once. I haven't glued myself to the set. If she has, when did she die? I read today in the newspaper that she and Ron lost a child. A daughter they had named Christine. It was after Maureen's birth. A woman who lives nearby to where I live wrote to Ron as a teenager. She was a girl who wrote to movie stars. She has a letter she saved from the 1940's and it mentioned the lost of a daughter.
Years later the late 1960's she met Ron

So far as I know, Jane Wyman is still with us. You can read through her IMDb biography here:

I read that imdb list and it gave the impression she was still living. I did hear on another station that she paid her respects to Ron. She may have done it when the body arrived on the first trip to the library. I thought I saw her at the last cerimony sitting but no one mentioned it. I thought in all the weeks time only twice her name was mentioned. I do reliaze it was Nancy and her childrens day but Jane is Michael;s mother. Maybe NAncy didn't like her at all.

I've been wondering the same thing, even as a fan of Jane's, not just the Ronald Reagan connection. Was she at either funeral, or not? She'd be 90, so maybe she couldn't make the trip?

I believe she's still alive. I remember her at Maureen Reagan's funeral a couple of years ago. Her and Nancy gave each other a hug that day so I suppose they got a long with each other.

I wish there were a recent picture so we can determine if she was at Reagan's funeral. If so, I didn't recognize her at all. Although I only really saw her in Falcon Crest and the last episode aired in 1991, so she's 90, at least and would obviously look different. Maureen Reagan died in January 2001, so it was only 3 years ago.

I've been wondering why she was mentioned so few times, as well. Like you said, it was their day but she was his first wife and the mother of Michael Reagan. It was surprising to me.

I coundn't see why the newscasters didn;t say " Jane Wyman, Ronald Reagans first wife is seen seated or Earlier in the day Jane Wyman stopped by to say good bye. She was married to Ron from such and such and they had 2 children. . But I did hear the whole weeks ceromony was planned 3 YEARS AGO. I think when Ron fell and injured his hip the plan
was put into motion. Lady Thatcher had her prearrange speech that went on for 10 minutes and I thought gosh her voice isn't that bad. Then I found out her speech was done 1 1/2 years ago. Gosh I wonder is the other presidents have their end of life funeral plan all arranged.

My mom told me that Jane Wyman is dead, but she could be wrong.
