Question On Addams House - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

In the opening scene when they show the house, is it real or a painting? Does anyone know anything about it being a real facade.

A real house was only used in the first episode, it seems. All the other times it was a set (like the front porch) or a matte painting/photograph thing.

Thanks, that's just what I was looking for. I always thought it was a painting, you could tell.
