"They never finished their milk…!"

I have noticed many times that the boys never finish their milk. They ask to be 'excused' from the table and just leave half a glss sitting on the table. What did June do,pour it back in the bottle?

Boy,that would never have happened at my house as a kid,nor would I ever let my children get away with it.

This is an interesting post, because for the past couple of weeks, I've noticed that I'm actually getting annoyed with HOW much milk they are drinking...I mean, there are other drinks out there!! Water, orange juice, etc. I was so excited to see in one later episode Beaver going to the fridge and getting a bottle of soda. Its so ridiculous that I'm almost beginning to wonder if "milk" (or the Dairy association) was a sponsor of the show, and they were trying to plug it at every opportunity.

I believe you're right HG. The Milk Industry must of had something to do with it.
Nobody drinks that much milk!
I remember as a kid in the '50s,they would always 'push' milk ads on tv and in my school.
It's really not too healthy for us afterall as they once told us. See www.notmilk.com for all the details.

Also notice how some early eps use Fords and some later eps use Chrystler products.
They were 'silent' partners on the show I'm told (Commercials).
