Default I nominate barb1686 to be the new Moderator for This Board!

I don't know about everyone else here, but I think that Sitcoms Online should make barb1686 the new Mod. She seems to be the most knowledegable and friendly person here and I for one think she would do a much better job than the current Mod. Just my two cents... what does everyone else think?

P.S. Barb also has a direct link to one of the cast members (She has met Dennis Haskins )

I personally admire Barb. She's a great poster. And I wouldn't mind her as a moderator.

However, I think SBTBGeek does a fine job. I don't think he should be replaced. But if the Sitcoms Online moderator would like another moderator, (which I personally don't think we need on this board), I wouldn't mind having Barb1686 next to SBTBGeek.

No offense at all to you, but I don't see why you bring this up. It's not like SBTB Geek doesn't do his job and as if the board really needs more than 2 moderators. If you would have worded it different, maybe by saying "I think Barb1686 should be a moderator, too"...then I would think differently. But being a administrator to another board, I would personally take this as an offense if it were directed to me in my forum. Just my 2 cents.

SBTBGeek...YOU ARE AWESOME!!!! Keep up the great work on this board!!!!!!

LOL, thanks Erika.

Actually, DSFanForever, I couldn't agree with you more... Barbara IS a nice and lovely person. But because I agree with you on that, it doesn't mean I am going to admit that I'm a bad person or moderator as you see me to be. As for being "unfriendly," I am only unfriendly to those who are jerks, and about "being a better moderator"... you should of seen this board a year or two ago.

P.S.: I also have direct links to the cast members--

--Tiffani-Amber Thiessen-- I don't live far from where she grew up. She is the mother of my secret lovechild.

--Elizabeth Berkley-- I own a copy of "Showgirls," and no, it is not used as frisbee.

--Mario Lopez-- Some of my family heritage is also Mexican.

--Dustin Diamond-- I was his personal trainer for Celebrity Boxing.

I second DSFanForever's suggestion. Barb has demonstrated fairness and professionalism in all of her posts, and her knowledge of SBTB is unparalleled. Our current moderator has demonstrated an unwillingness to let bygones be bygones, and I think it obviously time for a change. Barb, you have my complete support in your quest to be moderator. Let me know if I can help in any way.

But of course you still managed to attack her and everyone else on this board. Don't try to use this as a median for your faults. You're not fooling anyone. And especially SBTB Geek and/or Barb1686.

I'm done with this thread. I have nothing more to say.

Is it obvious to everyone else that SBTB Geek and SBTB Goddess is the same person making a weak attempt to bolster his/her position by making it appear that his/her opinions have widespread support? It doesn't take a genious to see that the writing style and sentence structure is identical between the two. And is it just a coincidence that they are the only two who have refused to accept my apology from several months ago? I think not. Everyone else has moved along and I enjoy a great realtionship with them...everyone except SBTB Geekdess that is. I expect more from a board moderator, and that's why I'm jumping on the bandwagon to have you removed.

Yeah, but I can go back and just "edit" my spelling. You, on the other hand, can't go back and correct your rude comments.

Oh, wait! Let me be honest and nice here. You do often apologize....BUT come right back with an attack.

Some of us aren't as stupid as you'd want us to be. I don't play your games. I have a life.

I just think that there is way too much fighting/arguing go on at this board, and that's why I feel that there should be a new moderator. I don't think that SBTB Geek is doing a particularly bad job, but I don't think he is doing a great job. I just feel that with a new moderator, there might be a chance at fixing some of the problems that exist here. I apologize to SBTB Geek though... this wasn't meant to single you out and/or criticize you. I just think that Barb would do a great job.

By the way, I might not post here a lot, but I'm more of a "lurker" and have been coming here now for years, so I know what's going on

So, then lets just go to the source of the problem. Ban Thrill.

I don't know, but in the many forums I participate in, and in my personal forum, attacking posters is a violation of the rules. Are there rules to this forum? If not, maybe there should be.

Since you have been lurking around here, then you should know that there wasn't any arguing before Thrill arrived. I have been here for some time now and we've never had so many problems with one person.

Thrill should be thankful to SBTB Geek for keeping him on here. I would have banned him a long time ago. I think others would agree. (Even Barb) But I am no one to say.

Let's do a poll on that! LOL

No, I definitely don't think that that is the solution. We should not be banning any members. I have personally seen SBTB Geek be rude to other people (I can't remember any names right now.) I think he needs someone to co-mod with him - and Barb is that person.

Barb should be the new moderator, or at least a co-moderator with SBTB Geek!
