Default Favorite quote (Again!)

Yes, I know we've done the whole "Favorite quote" thing a zillion times, but this board has died again, and so I thought this might get us talking.

Let me just get this one out of the way first....

(Niles walks up behind CC and blows on her neck)
CC:I'm yours....tell me what you want me to do!
Niles(Thinks for a moment):Cluck like a chicken.
CC:What?!
Niles(Seductively):It turns me on!

OK, so, I know it loses something when you just write it out like that, but I'm even laughing now, reading it LOL.

And another favorite Niles moment, after he sees Max throw Fran on the bed in "A Fine Friendship." "If you let me tell Miss Babcock about this, I'll work free for a year!"

OK, now it's your turn to post your favorite lines!

I love this one from "Family Plumbing." (If that's the wrong episode, I *know* Kristen will take it upon herself to set me straight, hehe).

CC: Don't look at me. I wanted to do Twelve Angry Men.
Niles: Yes, but they didn't want to do you.

I can't recall what ep this next one is from (Kristen, darling, I need your help, lol).

Sylvia: Fran doesn't have any children. She's not married. She's all alone!
Fran: Louder, Ma. I don't think they heard you . . . in Uruguay!

And this next classic comes from my personal fave, "Pen Pal."

Maxwell: Are you thinking what I'm thinking?
Fran: What are you thinking?
Maxwell: I'm thinking . . . about taking a shower and going to bed.
Fran: What a coincidence. I'm going to bed thinking about you taking a shower.

The second quote is I *think* from "Everybody Needs a Bubbe." I'm about 90% sure.

And, of course, a line that I know Allison and I both love:

Niles: Did CaCa do a no-no in the kitchen? Now she's going to have to clean it up!

(Quick, Allison, what ep. is that from?)

Hmmmm . . . I think it is appropriate to quote Monk here, hehe. "Unless I'm wrong, which, you know, I'm not," the CaCa line comes from "Green Card."

And now for more memorable quotes from that episode . . .

Felipe: But, mon cherie, j'te adore!
Fran: My pleasure! *slams door*

Slyvia: A man proposed to you without meeting your mother?
Fran: Gee, you know, I never made that connection before . . .

I'll hand it over to Kristen now. Take it away, girl! Hehe.

I just thought of this line from "You Bette Your Life."

Max:This benefit won't interest you, Miss Fine. No single men, no shrimp, and no stars will be there.
Brighton:I thought Bette Midler was hosting it. (Pause) But then, I also thought I had an inheritance, and I'm probably wrong about that, too.

Ooh, and this one from (of course) "Pup in Paris"

(During the infamous plane ride)
Max:The children adored you, Miss Fine
Fran:You know, now would be a good time to call me Fran.

I just thought of another great one, from the pilot.

Fran: Why can't I find a guy like Daddy - deaf and on a pension?
Sylvia: You will.

The all-time greatest Val moment: (From "Val's Apartment," of course!)

Val:A roach, a roach!
Fran:Well, take your shoe off and kill it!
(Val takes her shoe off and squishes the roach with her bare foot)

And another Val moment from "The In-Law Who Came Forever."

(Val is eating pancakes that fran is "making" for Max)
Val:These pancakes are good, Fran!
Fran:I told you, I'm just pretending to make them.
Val:Well, let me tell you something. They taste real!

And, while we're on the subject....

Fran:Have you met my friend Val?

(Couldn't leave that one out, could I, Allison?)

Hmmm . . . You know, this really shouldn't be as hard as it is. Hehe. I guess there's just so many great lines that it's hard to keep track of them all.

Let's see . . .

Maxwell: Niles, get your mind out of the gutter.
Niles: Vacating the gutter, Sir.

Fran: What's this? A bill from my therapist. Whoa, am I unhappy!

That's all I've got for now. *hangs head in shame*

Anyone know what ep. that "Vacating the gutter" quote is from? I can't place it.

Anyway, I heard a great line during "Here Comes the Brood" just now:

CC:I adore children. It's a natural thing, a female thing.
Niles:I hear some females eat their young.

Oh, and this line, too. (I LOVE how DD says this):

Niles:And it's so tricky getting vomit out of pith.

hehe

I pick two CC quotes to "honor" that she's back from The Place... guess which season we are watching here right now. hehe

C.C.: I'm so alone in this world. The only men I ever meet are the ones I audition. Do you know how many straight chorus boys there are in this town? I do! The only thing I have to look forward to is saying goodbye to Niles. Maxwell told me they were gonna fire him when they got married.
I knew you were there, you reek of Tilex.

C.C.: I know. That damn Prozac is turning me into a caring human being. And they said there'd be no harmful side effects.

Speaking of quotes... does anyone know from which episode this one is?:

C.C.: Oooops, I'm dating myself.
Niles: Dating yourself? How pathetic. Even you can do better than you.

I just thought of another great one.

Fran: Did you hear that, Miss Babcock? I'm not stupid; I'm sexy.
CC: Don't sell yourself short, Nanny Fine. You're both.
Fran: I am smart enough to know that I've just been insulted and sexy enough not to care.

I thought of some more! This one's from "My Fair Nanny."

Fran: Niles, you know all about that fancy schmancy stuff.
Niles: Yes. I am proud of my command of both the fancy and the schmancy.

And here's a cute one from "Smoke Gets in Your Lies."

Brighton: What just happened here?
Fran: Honey, I am so far ahead of you we're in different time zones.
