Which decade had the most sitcoms??
And which decade had the most sitcoms you like?? (not quality wise.... quantity) (for example.... if you like 10 shows from the 1960s, but only 8 shows from the 1990s.... the 1960s wins even if your favorite show is from the 1990s) |

1980s had most of my favorite sitcoms, (The Facts of Life, Who's the Boss, and Family Ties,) although my favorite (Full House) is from the 90s.

I don't know which decade had the most sitcoms, but the 80s had the most sitcoms I like. All of my favorite shows come from the 80s and I will give most any 80s sitcom a chance to see if I like it.

The decade with the most sitcoms is definitely the 90's. The 70's had a little over 100 sitcoms. The 80's had over 110 sitcoms. The 90's probably had close to 200 sitcoms. You have to figure you had 2 new networks in the 90's that aired a lot of short lived sitcoms(UPN and WB).
The 70's had the most sitcoms I like. |

In terms of quantity....I guess 90s.
(For quality - 1980s. One word: Cheers.) |
