Jo "in" the movie - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

i kept waiting for Jo just to pop up! three times particularly:

1. when Tootie is walking up the steps on stage, i thought it was Jo for a sec!

2. when mrs. G is doing the toast at the dinner. i thought she would get to Jo last, and and when said "And Jo..." she would show up

3. after dinner, when there were dacning. I saw someone in a cop uniform in the background, and thought it was Jo. then i realized that it was everyone from the movie there, and the cop was from the scene earlier where the kids got arrested.

two questions:
-was the cop really the same cop from The New Girl?
-and how old was Sam compared to the 2 girls(jamie and tootie's daughter). they all looked spread apart, age wise

otherwise, it was great!

I thought there might be a chance Nancy would make an unbilled cameo, and this was the point where I thought it would happen. When Jo didn't show up here, I knew that there would be no Jo.

i was really hoping that JO would make it too- as a 29 year old fan of the show, i identified most with Jo in the tv show. i was so disappointed that i cried. However, the refs that were made to her were welcome.

I looked for Jo through out the movie. As Ms. G toasted though I kept waiting for her to pop in. Once she didn't show up then, I knew it was a lost cause

I missed Jo so incredibly much!

Yeah, I was expecting MacKenzie Astin and Nancy McKeon to be in an unbilled cameo or sumthing......

She's fine. I guess.

The movie was great. But it was missing something. And that something was Jo. I wanted her to show at the end. You know. Se should have been their!

On the 6pm ABC news tonight in L.A., entertainment reporter George Pennacchio had a segment on the reunion movie. They had some Toronto behind-the-scenes footage and Mindy Cohn was interviewed. Interestingly, he said: "Nancy McKeon was set to do a cameo but the events of Sept. 11 made that impossible."

Hmmmm- now why couldn't they postpone it if she REALLY was set to appear? We would have waited for that!
