Image has set June 29 as the release date for the full Season 5 set.

In addition, on the same date, Image Entertainment is also releasing 5 additional DVD's titled "The Best of The Dick Van Dyke Show". Each disk includes 4 episodes.

Volume 1: The Sick Boy and the Sitter, Big Max Calvada, Coast-to-Coast Big Mouth, Dear Sally Rogers

Volume 2: Where Did I Come From?, That's My Boy?, It May Look Like a Walnut, October Eve.

Volume 3: 100 Terrible Hours, Uhny Uftz, Never Bathe on Saturday, The Secret Life of Buddy and Sally

Volume 4: Oh How We Met the Night That We Danced, My Blonde-Haired Brunette, 4*, The Alan Brady Show Goes to Jail

Volume 5: What's in a Middle Name?, The Curious Thing about Women, All About Eavesdropping, One Angry Man

Will the Reunion show be available on DVD? Not sure yet - stay tuned for updates.

I am not counting on every having the full-length "Dick Van Dyke and the Other Woman" on DVD, so I am settling for the clip that we will get on Season Five. I do hope, however, that we will see the entire full-length Inside TV Land: The Dick Van Dyke Show (2000) somewhere on the season five set.

I'm hoping for that too, algebra.

And I like the idea of a very low-cost "Best Of" series of DVD-On-DVD discs. Great idea for those who might not want to spend the cash for all the episodes.

You can get the "Best Of" volumes (100 minutes each) for just $7.09 @ DVD Empire; or $7.30 @ DeepDiscountDVD.
