CBS Sitcom 7:30pm Mondays "Totally Alike" stars Whoopi Goldberg and Bette Midler as friends from when they were childhood neighbors up until they graduate high school and went to different colleges. Whoopi Goldberg as Caryn Michaelson and Bette Midler as Laurie Hamlinn Even though they send cards through the mail for holidays, birthdays, etc., they haven't seen each other since they were both 18 year old. The both can recall the last time they saw each other fairly well: It was August 20th, 1974..the night before they each left for college. They made a pact to keep in touch often, but they made a pact to reunite 30 years into the future. Now 30 years later, they reunite. |
