But on Married with Children there was an other mismatched couple: Marcy and Jefferson D'Arcy. At first, Marcy was married to Steve Rhoades, who was this really greedy, money-sick, but hard-working, kinda dull snob. When Steve at a certain moment didn't want to work anymore (after he was fired), Marcy went mad and arranged a job for him. Then a few seasons later, she marries Jefferson, a lazy, gold-digging, worthless, unemployed male version of Peg that Marcy has to support, and Marcy was fine with it. What's up with that?
