Britney is a terrible vocalist, but I'd go for her over Jessica. Jessica Simpson is more a gimmick than a recording artist right now. She's everywhere hocking pizza and breathmints.

I think Britney has surprised everyone with this cd. Not reaching the heights she had at age 18, but I think she's made the transition over to ADULT artist. Toxic and Everytime both have given her airplay that she was denied with the Britney album. I haven't bought the album (I'd wait for a GH cd), but I was shocked that Everytime is the third Britney single in a row I actually like. Who would've guessed?

You didn't need to edit it.

I'm someone who complains about most music now. I make fun of pop stars all the time... But when Britney's on the radio, I listen to her...

That's more than I can say for Jessica Simpson. She's annoyed me from the get-go. And BuffySlayer is so right--she's nothing but a gimmick. She didn't start out that way, but she was just boring from the beginning. Now Jessica is a reality star, nothing more. Her music is ghastly. I agree that Britney did pretty well for herself on this most recent album. Jessica's has been popular too but I think it has more to do with her being a reality star. I actually think Britney is more of a serious entertainer. I can't believe I'm saying that--Her singing is weak, she lip-synchs at her concerts and isn't known for writing most of her music... But she is still easier to take more seriously than Jessica Simpson.

I like Jessica's music better than Britney's. No offence, but I think Britney dresses kind of "bad". I mean, little kids look upto her because she's a singer and she should at least act aware of that.
And, Jessica acts like a ditz on that tv show of hers. No offence. I love her music. But, did anyone see that Newly Weds episode where Jessica and Nick go kill the bees? Don't bees help to pollinate flowers?

Is this how it's going to be from now on? You pick on Sarah in every thread she says something you don't like? Leave her alone. So you don't like some of her posts? MOVE ON.

I think Britney is 1000 times better than Jessica...Love her and her music and her performances on stage... (I hate Jessica Simpson though)

Shut the **** up and stop going off at me for every little thing i say. I don't have to like some god damn singers, and i can say so. It doesnt mean i have an "attitude." You don't like it? Suck it up and move on. The reason why i have this "attitude" is because of people just like you who get on my back for every little thing i do. A few months ago i almost left the boards because i couldnt handle everyone talking **** about me left and right, accusing me of all kinds of things, starting **** with me etc. If you have such a problem with me, PM it to me right now. I'm so mother ****ing sick of dealing with everyone on this stupid board. This is the second day in a row that i've been yelled at for sharing my opinion.. grow up people.

Sarah has every right to her opinion. Stop with the personal attacks against her. If someone bothers you so much, put them on your ignore list.

Man alive, can't anybody give their own opinions? This is the first time I've done this but that doesn't mean it hasn't bothered me in the past. Just.. this gets to be so friggin' old.

does is perhaps worse than what I did-she has these problems
and these issues and she takes them out on a large number of
people on the chit-chat boards. She has been called on this by
a number of posters on this board, including me. I think she
should be suspended from the chit-chat boards for a period of
time until she can learn how to play nice on here.
You just don't get it do you? The girl says she doesn't like seafood, and people jump on her case for it. She says what she doesn't like about Britney, and you get on her case for it. When she posted her opinion in the 80s-new-artist-thread, you jumped on her case. Since your problems with her go beyond these simple chitchat topics (for whatever stupid reason), just keep quiet about it. There is no reason to drag this out in all these threads. It's off topic and it's rude. You're the one who is not "play[ing] nice," not Sarah. They need to suspend your "a word" maybe.
