Default The Day After Tomorrow

I just saw this today and here's what I think. I really liked it but I thought that Independence Day (a film directed by the director of this film) was better than this one. That doesn't necessarily mean that TDAT wasn't good, it was quite the opposite. The special effects were spectacular and well-done. The problem is that the first half of the movie kept me on the edge of my seat with all the suspense and stuff. But then the second half I thought was a little too talky. Some action sequences here and there. It's like it all built itself up to nothing. I was expecting more from it but I liked it nonetheless. I'd give it 2 and a half stars out of 4 at most.

I saw that movie back on Tuesday with my brother while I was at Regal Cinemas in Union Square in Manhattan along with another movie I saw is "Shrek 2".

I liked it better than Independence Day (hated that movie), but I just thought that it's your typical natural disaster movie. I don't think I'd ever care to see it again.

I hate Independence Day so I'm not going to see this movie. I don't like disaster movies in general and all the hype surrounding this flick is helping even more to turn me off. So I'm keeping away from this one.

The Day After tomorrow has great special effects and its worth seeing once, but thats all the movie is.

The characters aren't very well devopled. The plot line between the son and the father is crazy. I mean, the movie is forgettable. Independence day was alot better, but i still enjoyed it once. **1/2 stars.

I saw it last Monday and thought it was pretty good. I haven't seen Independence Day so I can't comment on that.

Considering how much you are fascinated by weather, I am positive you'll like it, especially the first half. The first half keeps you on your seat.

I saw it about a month ago when I was down in California, and the whole thing played like a propaganda piece.
