Really, how old was Carmine?
In one episode from the 1980-81 (first California) season, Carmine recently said he was thirty years of age. Since they welcome the new year 1965 in the beginning sequences that leads me to believe "The Big Ragoo" was born in either 1934 or 1935. (Plus, there was a 1965 calendar on the kitchen wall if I'm not mistaken.)
Remembering "A Nun's Story" about the third high school reunion, episode #4), Laverne and Shirley graduated high school in 1956 (so it's 1959 on L&S in calendar year 1976). This is also evident in the ten-year reunion in a 1982 episode, Episode #150 "Class of '56" (DUH!). Was Carmine a member of the "Class of '56"? |
