Default Brian Bonsall arrested fro DUI

I just found this, i don't know if anyone else heard it or not. I was kinda surprised to read this was his second time.

BOULDER, Colo. (AP) - Brian Bonsall, the youngest member of the Keaton clan on television's "Family Ties," was arrested last week on suspicion of drunken driving.

Bonsall, 22, was arrested early Friday by police who said they saw someone vomit out the passenger side window of his car. Asked how much he had to drink, Bonsall responded, "Plenty," then failed a roadside test.

Police said a blood test showed he had "excess alcohol content" but did not disclose the exact amount.

Bonsall, who lives in Boulder, starred as Andy Keaton for three seasons on the NBC sitcom in the late 1980s that helped launch the career of Michael J. Fox. Bonsall later appeared in episodes of "Star Trek: The Next Generation" and the 1993 film "Father Hood."

Bonsall was convicted of drunken driving in 2001 and his license was suspended, police said.

"Plenty."

You cant make this stuff up.

Pretty funny.

Though DUI is no laughing matter, I just meant that answer certainly is humorous.

Man, Worf must be so disappointed.

There is no honor in driving drunk.

Aww, that's sad. He's supposed to be that cute, little, Alex-worshipping kid.

Yeah, while this is sad, it is not surprising. He is just about a freak now anyway.

actually, I don't think Brian's path as an adult is any different than Tina's choice to be a rocker. I saw Brian on an E! Where Are They Now special not too long ago and he seems like a pretty cool guy. He really does care about the punk lifestyle, which you can't fault. Seems a lot more down to earth and someone you'd wanna be friends with than most other former child stars.

Well I do fault anybody who subscribes to the "punk lifestyle." Nothing good socially comes from that kind of life or behavor. I also am disappointed in Tina for her "rocker life," but you can't do anything about either one. It is a shame that so many child stars end up on bad paths.

what's so wrong about it? Not everyone is going to be a doctor or lawyer as an adult. Music is Brian's true calling, calling punks "freaks" is not cool. Just because you don't understand the way of life doesn't mean they're freaks. Hell, it is cooler that someone who started out in the industry has rebelled and is underground, as opposed to catering to the Disney/TRL market like other "former child stars" like Raven-Symone, The Olsen Twins and all the former Mickey Mouse Club artists (Britney, Justin, Christina, etc...).

At least Brian seems authentically punk, as opposed to somebody like Avril Lavigne who proclaims to the world how hardcore she is, when she's basically Britney Spears with a guitar.

There are worse things Brian Bonsall could do, he could've wound up a scary Bible-thumper like Kirk Cameron or Lisa Whelchel (I love Facts Of Life but she does kinda scare me with her ultra-ultra-religious attitude... I know Justine Bateman's religious, but she doesn't have a holier thou art attitude like Kirk does) has, yikes! You might think "what's wrong with that?", but I feel the same way about nothing wrong with Brian Bonsall and Tina Yothers deciding to be rockers instead of pursuing bad commercialized computerized pop crap like most child-stars-turned-singers do.

Basically I take serious offense to you defending the "punk lifestyle" while criticizing religous former child stars as "bible-thumpers." And anybody that would decorate their body with as many tatoos and piercings as Brian Bonsall is a freak to me. Just a difference of opinion.

Because just thinking about yourself is selfish. I think its sad he is a drinker. It could ruin his life forever.
