The AW weekend marathon is preempted so often...I don't see why they just don't start doing themed marathons of shows there weekly. Much as I love AW, with it getting preempted every few weeks, might as well.

The only one of these I'm not really looking forward to is OLTL. I dunno, I just don't really care much for the series. Days (1997!), AMC, and GH (1994!) on the other hand...

Personally, I wish they would have stuck something else in place of OLTL, but that's just me. OH well, three out of four ain't bad (So sue me, I have no qualms with an AMC from '03)

Well, it's nice to see a semi-vintage DAYS episode. I'll be sure to have a tape ready.

I'm happy about the DAYS and GH episode. I could give or take the OLTL episode, because I'm not a big fan of Nora or Bo. I'm also happy about the AMC episode, although I wish it were a bit older, but that goes for all of them. I don't see why they need to broadcast a special; they could've used the extra hour for an Another World, Ryan's Hope, and/or a Port Charles episode. They could've also used the DFN for more episodes. -.-

I just checked their site. They're getting rid of the Another World weekend marathon as of this weekend. It's being replaced with a marathon of One Life to Live.

Personally, I don't understand why they have the Dysfunctional Family Nights with the primetime soaps. IMO, it'd make more sense to put a classic soap episode block there. It's going to take forever for them to go through the run on just Saturdays, especially for KL and Dallas.

I definitely agree with you on that. However, I have read that this time they might edit it to include clips from Another World and Days of Our Lives.

I wish they would use episodes from AMC that are a little older, 2003 was last year, whats the point? Why not show the episode where Tads wedding is inturputed when the birde is run over? and he is locked in the bank? That is VINTAGE AMC. I really am looking forward to the OLTL episode, thats one of my favorite episodes ever, and i'm a huge OLTL fan.

Are you sure? I seen a promo on Soapnet where they're just having a Sunday Marathon for Days, AMC, OLTL and GH, wasn't the AW marathon on Saturday

I like the DFN on Saturdays, especially since I just started watching Dallas

Six Years for KL and Dallas, without a single preemption, running every SAturday. Oh well, I've got no problem with Dallas and KL on the schedule for six years....

If they ditched the SoapTalks/Soapcenters spread throughout the entire weekend, and shuffled accordingly, they'd have enough time for a classic soap block right THERE. *OR*, heaven forbid, they could swap out the SECOND Weekend Rerun blocks for GH/AMC/OLTL, and air other things THERE
