I will pick these two seasons as that ones that were not entertaining

Jan 1971-May 1971

1978-1979

Seeing how the show got worse each season (But the first four seasons were all still hysterical) I'll pick the last two seasons.

Seasons 8 and 9 weren't very good. Season 8 had some very strange stories like Archie getting addicted to pills, Edith almost getting raped, and the most bizarre one of them all, Archie joining the KKK. I did like 2 episodes from season 8: Super Bowl Sunday and The Stivics Go West. Season 9 was a waste of time with that little brat Stephanie plus the Stivics were gone.

Strong father figures are men like Ward Clever and Cliff Huxtable. Archie was an ignorant bigot and James was an abusive loud mouth. In any case, I don't see what this has to do with the original thread.

Cliff was passive. Also you said all the seasons was great and i asked why did you enjoy the last season since there was only Archie, Edith, and Stephanie.

Cliff was not passive; he was sane. I liked the last season of All In The Family because it was good. Also, Archie redeemed himself, to a certain extent, for his cruelty towards Edith and hatred of minorities in the past.

I can't pick 2 but the last one was clearly not as good as the others. The 2 part episode in California was about the best thing about that year. The other years to me have entertaining moments in any given episode.
