Correct me if I'm wrong, but in the "Teenage Marriage" episodes-Jo is wearing a pinkish jacket with darker pink stripes. Tootie is wearing the same jacket later in the opening credits. Recycled costumes.

Yep, I think it's part of what gave the show charm. I mean it's not totally unrealistic that Jo would've given her coat to Tootie once she grew out of it....I also like the fact that you can see the characters wear the same clothes more than once (other than their uniforms, and possibly Blair). It also makes it more realistic.
