Default Seeing people who have been on Wings

in other things.

I'm not sure but we may have covered this topic before, but who have you seen in movies or TV that have appeared on Wings at one time or another?

Well, right now, I've got on "Object of my Affection" that, of course, Tim is in.

I just watched Seabiscuit recently and Valerie Mahaffey(Sandy Cooper) played Jeff Bridges' character's 1st wife.

I also watched a movie called "Identity" with John Cusack & Ray Liotta and it was about these 10 people who end up stuck at this motel during a rainstorm and one by one, they get killed off. Well, the guy who played the motel manager, Larry, looked so familiar but I couldn't place him. As I'm watching the movie, I kept thinking 'where do I know him from?'. Even seeing his name in the credits(John Hawkes) didn't trigger anything. I thought when I got home I would just check on the Internet Movie Database. Later on, I started thinking about it again and I was wracking my brain and it was bugging me. I kept thinking that what I remember seeing him in, he was rather a dopey character, like he was "slow". Then it hit me!!! He played Helen's crab boy!!! I think the reason I couldn't figure out who it was right away is because his character in the movie was so different, of course, than crab boy. I couldn't help but laugh that this was the same guy.

I know there are many other actors who were on Wings who have been on many other things--Robert Culp, George Kennedy, etc. George in those Naked Gun movies!!HaHa! And I also remember watching a show when I was younger that he was in called The Blue Knight.

Laura Innes, who played Bunny, is a series regular on ER. The guy who played Roy's son also has a recurring role on ER as Jerry, the desk clerk. I've seen a couple of people on Wings also appear on ER.

I remember the X-Files episode that Antonio was on. I hate to say it, but sometimes I wish I had that killer shadow!

The guy who played the maschoist (sp) leader in the Team Player episode was on Everybody Loves Raymond and Scrubs. He played basically the same character too.

Bob, the air-traffic controller who held Antonio at gunpoint, is on Law and Order: SVU. That show is to USA network what The Cosby Show is to N@N.

I just saw Crystal Bernard aka Helen on the movie A Face To Kill For. It was shown on Lifetime last week. In fact, that movie is the reason why I am in this forum now. It reminded me how much I love her character Helen and the show Wings! There's also this one movie that was always on TBS or TNT. I think the title is As Good As Dead.

Tony Shaloub aka Antonio now has his own hit series Monk! I also saw him on the X-files episode that Sideshow Kristen was talking about. Wasn't he on Meg Ryan's most recent movie. The movie about a boxer's manager I think.

When I first saw Bunny on ER, I was shocked! She played a strict doctor with a leg problem. It was a totally different character!

thanks for the warm welcome Krista2882!

i saw that one too! You're right that's Laura Innes! Bunny was the one who had a kid, but picked the short stick and had to stay and die. ngeehee! So Tia Leone's character gave her her seat at the helicopter so she could live and be with her child.

My dad was watching "Star Trek: Voyager" last night, and Mark Harelick (or however you spell it), who played Davis Lynch on Wings guest-starred in the episode as an alien scientist. lol. I was laughing. He looked better as an alien than he does normally. hahahaha!

I catch atleast one person everyday on television who has had a part on wings.

I was watching this movie called Basic and I saw Tim Daly.. I saw Seven Girlfriends a few weeks ago, had tim daly also. I saw a movie called 13 ghosts ( I think) which has tony shaloub. I saw a re-run of according to jim with crystal bernard. (Cool hair, lol.)
I found a special on Tine Daly a few weeks ago on television and they interviewed tim daly.. I was watching VH1 and Stephen Webber was on "I love the 70's"..

I was changing through the channels and I saw George of The Jungle on disney with Thomas Haden Church in it, and the dude who played Roy's gay son was in it too.

Few weeks ago I saw the monk episode that had tim daly in it...

If you've heard of The Dead Zone on USA ( same network as monk)

Tony Shaloub will be on one of the episodes as a crazed cab driver with a weird accent. His name is Tony (funny how close it is to antonio.)

So Tony Shaloub was probably best for that part, and also since he's on the usa network I guess they decided to ask him.

Anyway he's a cab driver who tries to kill john smith ( lead of the dead zone series ) when he sees a vision of Tony killing his girlfriend Alex (no not from wings, just a coincidence.)

Mark Harelik is also in one of my favorite movies, Election, with Matthew Broderick & Reese Witherspoon. He plays Matthew's character's best friend, and he has a teacher/student affair with Reese's character.

I just saw Marian Seldes, who played Eleanor Kingsberry, in Mona Lisa Smile. I also saw her in Home Alone 3, and she played Big's mother on "Sex & the City".

Oh, I about forgot, I was reading in the USA Today a few weeks ago. There's a movie called Sideways that Thomas Haden Church is in and apparently his role is a pretty major one. USA Today picked 6 movies as the best of the year and Sideways was one of them. I probably won't see it in the theater, like I don't with most movies, but I'd definitely rent it when it comes out of DVD.
