Jethro Tull recorded thirteen studio albums and one live set - and released three anthologies - between 1968 and 1980. Although they've released albums since, I decided to stick with the 1968-80 period because that was the time whern Tull released one studio album a year, and also because it was their most artistically fruitful era. So which Jethro Tull album to do you like?
(P.S. The live album is called Bursting Out, not Brusting Out. Sorry.) |

I'll go first. I chose Stand Up, because it contains great songs like "A New Day Yesterday," Look Into the Sun", and "Fat Man."
It's also the first album with Martin Barre on guitar.

I guess I'd have to go with Minstrel in the Gallery, because I have the songbook to the album--it was the first songbook I ever bought, in 1977!
