Angry 1st Season!!!

WHY DOES EVERYONE HATE THE FIRST SEASON??!!?? I though it was like the best!!! They had better characters, it's not that I don't like Jo but still..... I like everyone who has anything to do with FOL! But why does everyone hate it so much it's exactly the same as season 2 except a new girl.

There's alot of reasons why some people don't like the first season but even though my favorite character is Jo I still like the first season. Its not one of my favorites but its not as bad as some people say it is.

By the way has the marathon started where you live?It hasn't here but it will I think.

My opinion is that there are to many girls and the episodes just weren't that funny. Even know Blair was in the first season, she is much better with *ahem* (Jamie LOL) Jo. She is funnier with her.

I really liked the first season...the characters blended very well...I think that what turned people off was the scripts, and 1 more thing. I don't think that people go in the mood to watch a spin-off with the least interesting character from another show...but people grew to know the girls, and liked em.

IMO, the first season was great, especially "Rough Housing" and "I.Q." But it's just the spark between Jo and Princess Di......erm......Blair that made the show what most people remember it as.

I LOVE season 1!!! well, it's not as good as some, but I really like it! I like Sue Ann, she's my fave first season girl...IMO, she was like the first season "Jo" except maybe...different...lol..she was always the one to have arguements with Blair and stuff...is basically what I mean...

Anyway, there were some great Mrs. G moments in season 1!!! Course, there were better ones in other seasons...anyway...yea...I'll shut up now...

I hate the first season whenever it is on I will change the channel. There were way to many cast member during the season. And I don't think any of the episodes from that season were at all funny.

Hey man, I too love Season 1! Cindy---my favorite of the "axed girls"---was obviously an early version of Jo, especially in "Rough Housing"---she really wanted to sock it to Blair in that one! (But even though Cindy was my favorite, Blair is my favorite now in Seasons 2-9---ironically, Jo is my least favorite, lol---but I do like her. )

LOVE "Rough Housing", "Running", "Flash Flood"...*sigh* Those are some great memories for me.

And Chris is right, Tootie was so adorable back then! And yeah, Mrs. G had some of her funniest moments ever in that season---just take a look at that scene between her and Mr. Garrett at the common room phone in "I.Q."!
