Default If they made a FOL movie featuring new young stars!

Who do you think would play each of the four main(only Jo, Blair, Natalie, and Tootie)girls and Mrs. Garrett if they did a Facts of Life movie today featuring only young stars of today?

My choices are as follows:

Mrs. Garrett---Kathy Bates
Blair Warner---Jessica Simpson
Jo Polnaizchek---Lindsay Lohan(Maybe even Nancy McKeon herself{She still looks the young enough to pul it off, who knows, different people playing as blair, natalie, etc.} but I don't think she will, it's just not her anymore) so I'll still say Lindsay Lohan makes a perfect Jo. Same green eyes, same or near same hair color, near same height, Maybe Mrs. Lohan may even be 5'-6" tall. Same tomboy flair, same sporty look, same attitude, too. Lindsay Lohan would make a perfect new generation version of Jo. And nobody else. Heck, She looks almost like Jo anyways.
Natalie Green----Hillary Duff
Tootie--------------????????? Don't know that one. Not many teen black girls in the biz these days.

I dunno if I like the idea, seeing people like Hilary Duff and Jessica Simpson ruining the characters we grew up with in the 80's, however a FOL movie WOULD increase the chances of a FOL DVD Starsky And Hutch came out right when the movie premiered, so did S.W.A.T. and Charlie's Angels.

five of FOL).

I agree with Linsay Lohan playing as Jo Polnaizchec. Hell, she's got the same eye color, almost the same height, and a little bit lighter that brunnette colored hair.

I also agree with Jessica Simpson playing as Blair Warner. They have the same hair and eye color, almost the same height. Hell, they could pass as virtual identical twins, ya know. Of course Jessica Simpson would have to perm her hair, that's about it.

I think Delta Burke on the other hand should play as Mr's Garrette.

As far as Natalie Green, Whats wrong with Hillary Duff playing as Natalie Green. Okay, I get it, it's the feud between her and Lindsay Lohan, is that right?

And I don't know who would play as Tootie. That one is indeed hard.

Default Who should play who?

here's my dream list:

Miss Garrett- Kathy Bates (somebody was right there)

Blair Warner- Brittany Snow, That Zenon girl (Kirsten Storms)

Natalie Green- Lori Beth Dinberg (that's a good choice)

Tootie Ramsey- Kyla Pratt, yes, even Raven, or that girl in Bernie Mac's show, Dee Dee Davis

Jo Polniaczek- Caterina Scorsone (I definitely see her playing Jo)

Nancy- Christy Romano

Sue Ann- Mischa Barton

Cindy- Vikki Krinsky (from "Wild Card")

Molly- Lalaine

Cliff (Blair's boy toy)- Benjamin MacKenzie

Andy- Jake Thomas

Beverly Ann Stickle- Annie Potts

You can all shoot me on this, but that's what i think of if the cast was younger.

I think Christie Carlson Romano would be better fitting for the role of Molly, not Jo. She looks more like a younger Molly Ringwall anyways, Dark eyes and auburn hair=Molly, not Jo.

I'd rather see Nancy McKeon reprise her old role and slap on that ole' Eastland uniform rather than some disney loving geek girls of today's Generation Z. The only one who could do Jo well is the one who origionally did it herself. Boo-yah!

I wouldn't want to see a movie remake, you can't replace the original stars it wouldn't be the same.

Talking I Think...

Alexa Vega("Spy Kids" girl) to play Natalie, the girl who played Eddie Murphy's daughter from "Haunted Mansion" to play Tootie.

I for one, definitely agree with those who voted Kathy Bates to play the role of Mrs. Garrett. She's absolutely fabulous. Moreover, she did a superb job as Ms. Hannigan on "Annie."

I have to agree. It's one thing to have a reunion (with the same people) It's quite another to have new people play our beloved characters. I say just re-run the originals and leave the "new" idea alone.

Christy would be too tall to play Molly, although, wasn't molly the one that could play guitar and sing?

I can SO see Vikki as Cindy!

Mrs. Garret - Lea Thompson ("Caroline in the City")
Jo - Jamie Renee Smith ("Up, Up, and Away")
Blair - Sara Paxton ("Sleepover")
Tootie - Kyla Pratt ("Proud Family")
Natalie - Diana DiGarmo ("American Idol")

Molly - Mara Wilson ("Miracle on 24th Street")
Cindy - Vikki Krinsky ("Wild Card")
Sue Ann - Brie Larson ("Sleepover")
Nancy - Christy Romano ("Even Stevens")
