If I remember right there was a survey conducted at TV Land site asking who was your favorite TV dad a couple of months ago. That should be a good show.

My favorite dad would be Ward Cleaver.

I wish he would win to, however LITB doesn' t do very well when it comes to getting awards from TVL, even though it is one of TVL flagship shows.
