Question Who would be the better police officer?

Which of these two Square Pegs actresses would be a better police officer:Sarah Jessica Parker or Jami Gertz?

If I was ever pulled over by a police officer, I just wish it could be Jami Gertz!

Well, let me start by saying that I hope to never be wanted for either armed robbery or murder! But if I was wanted for these crimes and Jami was the arresting officer, I'd pull over in a second!

Considering that I've never meet Jami in real life I could not begin to write dialogue for her, but I'll write some dialogue for officer Muffy.

Muffy: "It behooves me to say that you were going fifty miles per hour in a twenty mile per hour speed zone.

Me: "Sorry, officer I didn't realize that I was speeding. I had my mind on something else."

Muffy: "That is no exscuse. What could have been so important that you failed to have your mind on the road?"

Me: "Well, I was planning on watching The Lost Boys tonight. You know that movie? It's that cool vampire movie from 1987. It has that gorgeous fox in it Jami Gertz. Never did she look hotter then in that movie. With that long, flowling curly hair. You know, come to think of it, you look a lot like Jami Gertz. Has anyone ever told you that?"

Muffy: "No they have not! And if you are trying to sweet talk your way out of a ticket it isn't going to work. And I don't find it one bit funny. I don't have the time to sit around here listening to this. I have a little Guatemalan child at home waiting for her supper. Any old way, I don't go to the movies. The last movies I saw was either Escape To Witch Mountain or Ordinary People, which ever one came out first. I forget."

How about that?

Let's see...

Muffy: "Now, if you would be so kind as to take out your driver's license, we can get things moving here."

Me: "Actually, I forgot my driver's license at home. Would you be kind enough to just take my word that I have a driver's license?"

Muffy: "No I most certianly will not! And I don't find your additude one bit amusing. I would change your additude if I were you. Because a little bird tells me that I'm going have to write you two tickets. One for speeding, and one for driving with out a license."

Me: "Would it change your mind if I told you I was one of the founding members of Devo. I was the drummer. I remember playing at your Bat Mitzvah. Best gig we ever played. You woudn't want to issue a ticket to a founding member of your favorite band now would you?"

Muffy: "I hardly think the New Wave band of the century would have employed such a person as yourself."

I don't know actually. I can't imagine Muffy putting cuffs on a person. Honestly, I can't even see her being a police officer. I just picked Jami Gertz because I like her so much.
