TV Land notoriously skipping episodes - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

I wonder if the Three's Company marathons had anything to do with it...

last week, TV Land was in the middle-to-latter episodes of season 6, then this Monday, they aired the episode where Andy befriends the deaf kid, which was towards the end of season 6, but then it fast-forwarded to "Designing Mallory" which was early season 7 right after (and not the season premiere or anything), and then the next night and since, they've been showing episodes that took place AFTER Steve's heart attack, as it was mentioned many times in those episodes. Why is TV Land started to skip so many episodes. I know the last 2 seasons are nowhere as popular as the earlier ones, but why all of a sudden are they skipping vital episodes like the 3-part heart attack episode, and much of the latter parts of season 6 and early season 7?

The marathons are not really responsible for the skipping. TV Land just does it when they feel like it and it really bothers me.
