You've heard it here first --Sanford & Son's fifth season will be coming to DVD sometime soon. I have passed on the information to our fellow friends at TVShowsonDVD.com and they will post some information about it in the near future. Kudos to Sony Television Home Entertainment/Columbia Tri-Star for remembering this classic again!

WOW, that was fast. Especially since season 4 was just releasedin March. Sales must be booming

Yeah I won't need the eps i have on VHS by this time next year.

I think that we can be sure that the Sanford & Son series will be complete within the close of the year. Season Four will be out in August-September, and that puts Season Six close behind.

You are hearing it here first -- Season 5 will be released Tues. Sept 14. The set will run 623 minutes. Sony will also release Diff'rent Strokes that day, a 588 min set.
