You've heard it here first -- 227 Season One will be coming to DVD sometime soon. I have passed on the information to our fellow friends at TVShowsonDVD.com and they will post some information about it in the near future. Kudos to Sony Television Home Entertainment/Columbia Tri-Star for remembering this classic!

OMG is this really true? Are there any other shows they are planning to relase? I wish Gimme A Break and Amen come to DVD as well. But really...227 is a must buy first day it's out DVD!

I have most of gimmie a break and most of Amen on vhs. Glad to hear that 227 is coming out on dvd. I haven't seen that show in a long time.

i cant wait. its a couple of days after my birthday. i wanted 2 see 227 for so long, and have been waiting impatiently for tv one to come on down here where i stay so i could watch it again but i am happy now 2 see thats its coming 2 dvd.

I couldn't find anything on 227 (Amazon gave me nothing, DVDPlanet didn't have anything and TVShowsOnDVD doesn't even have a page where you can preorder the sets). Does anybody know if the 227 season set will be closed captioned? I need to know, please.
