WARING: Contains spoilers if you haven't finished the series yet.

Quote:
Sam,
You are a weird kid but your also a good friend. I think Cindy is not a girl to care abot. Your to cool for her anyway. Have a good summer and let's go back to the go karts place. Without Fredericks! (Or Neal too! That kid's weirder than you! Ho ho ho)

Quote:
Sam,
You are a trippy kid who always seems to be doing the right thing. Maybe you should stop trying to be so good all the time and have some fun. High school is for finding out who you are not trying to be who other people think you should be. Be a crazier sofmore than a normal freshman and tell McKinley to bite you if they don't like it.

Sam,
You are a cool kid who is very nice and funny. It was a nice time having you in science class and doing my project with you. You are a hit with the ladies like Dean Martin or something, I think! Hope we are in classes together next year so you can tell people why I smell the way I do!
Gordon Crisp "84" [drawing of a "smiling duck"]
Quote:
Sam,
I'm glad we can still be friends after all we've been through this year. I still think your sort of a jerk but your a sweet one (no wonder you like "The Jerk!") Have a super summer and I'll see you next year.

I hope you don't get mad when you see I signed your book but I just wanted to say thanks for being my sister. I guess that sounds stupid but I'm glad you are. Try not to get Mom and Dad mad at you because then I have to listen to them complain while you're out having fun. Sorry but I'd figured I'd write that in this blank space.
Love,
Sam

Okay, I didn't read any of that but I got me interested in digging out the copy of the pilot episode of Freaks and Geeks that I had lying around somewhere and finally watching it. So I did. I loved it. Watched the end twice. And now I want to see the entire series so I have to buy the DVD set. Curses.

Thank you, AKA, for inspiring me to watch this show that now holds my interest.

I kept myself from reading most of it because I haven't finished the series (three episodes left) but what I did read made me imagine how cool the yearbook edition must look (I still haven't checked out any detailed, in-depth pictures of the set), but to paraphrase tvobscurities, now I want to see the entire bonus materials so I have to buy the yearbook edition DVD set. Curses.

These are great!! Brings back memories of how perfect (to me) this show was. Long live Freaks and Geeks.

Anyhow, as much as I love them all, this one sticks out for me:

Sam,
You were a pretty bad mascot but you're still a good guy. You should join drama next year. Don't take my parts though!
Colin

Sam as the mascot was hilarious, to say the least.

Well, I just purchased the Yearbook Edition with rush delivery. $127.20 with tax. Not cool. That's the most I've spent on television-related purchases in a while.

Let's hope I can string along all the content for a few months because I won't be buying anything else for a while.

Well, like AKA said, it's a great series and you'll love it. I did a bunch of reading online before I made my blind purchase of the standard edition, didn't see one negative word. It was all positive, and all justified. I love this show. I have to assume the yearbook edition is worth the price, since again, all that I've read has been positive. Let us know how you like it when you get your set.

No more stupid than not knowing the difference between sell and sale. If you want to continue this and get us both suspended, keep it up, but you'll never win a battle of wits with me. Keep trying.

P.S. Don't bother sending me any private messages, they'll be ignored and unanswered just like the one you sent me last week. Who's bothering whom?

I already do love the show and I've only seen the first episode. Three times, yes, but still, only the first episode.
