Did anyone ever notice that the part of Kenny Dexter in 'Big Max Calvada' was played by an actor named Jack Larson? This was NOT the same Jack Larson who played Jimmy Olsen in 'The Adventures of Superman.' I thought the Screen Actors Guild had a requirement that no two actors could have the same name.
Even so, this is one of my favorites. Every time I hear somebody say "Wichita" I want to say "Wichita ah-choo!' |

Didn't Mary add the "Tyler" to her name because there were already 6 Mary Moores in the Guild? I think I heard her say that once.

I think I have heard that about Mary Moore/Mary Tyler Moore. Case in point, actor Stewart Granger's real name is James Stewart. He obviously had to change his screen name to something else.

Mary Moore sounds too plain. I like Mary Tyler Moore better.

That's one of my favorite shows too. Especially where Kenny is doing his number in the nightclub and he's just abysmal-- "I love to hear ya say.... En-coooore!"
He's singing so flat, and he thinks he's so good, too bad American Idol wasn't around then. He's at least as funny as William Hung.
