Hey people I'm tired so I'm gonna make this short. My name is sara, I have Lupus, and I'm not going to die. Alot of people ask me if I'm going to die if I tell them I have a disease. I just want people to know about it so please just say hi.

Hi Sara. Welcome to the board. I have Lupus also, so I understand what you mean about people thinking you might die. When I was first diagnosed my whole family was so depressed and worried. I've had the symptoms for years and I'm still around and living a great life. In fact, I think the only thing that would kill me is if TVLand cancelled the FOL marathon this weekend or if I somehow missed the reunion. I know that's not really funny, but it is true!
