Default With the 20th anniversary of N@N coming up

in a little over a year, it will mark 20 years since the premiere of Nick At Nite.

Who thinks it would be cool if Nick takes a week out of it's Cosby marathon and devotes a week to the last 20 years of N@N?

imagine it like this (well, just a few suggestions for shows from these eras, I don't remember a lot of the early 90's stuff):

Sunday (1985-1987)
9:00: The Donna Reed Show [this is the one that really put N@N on the map]
9:30: Dennis The Menace
10:00: My Three Sons
10:30: Make Room For Daddy
11:00: I Spy (see, there's Cosby for you, lol)
12:00: Route 66
1:00: The Ann Southern Show
1:30-6:00 - repeat 9-1:30

Monday (1988-1990)
9:00: Many Loves Of Dobie Gillis
9:30: Mr. Ed
10:00: Patty Duke Show
10:30: ????
11:00:????
12:00: Rowan And Martin's Laugh-In
12:30: Saturday Night Live: Best Of 1975-1980 (see, N@N was airing this in 1988!!! was this not "modern tv classic" at the time?)
1:00: SCTV
1:30-6: repeat of 9-1:30

Tuesday (1990-1993)
9:00: Mary Tyler Moore Show
9:30: Mork And Mindy
10:00: F-Troop
10:30: The Lucy Show
11:00:????
11:30:????
12:00:????
12:30:????
1:00:????
1-30-6: repeat of 9-1:30

Wedneday (1993-1996)
9:00: Bewitched
9:30: I Dream Of Jeannie
10:00: I Love Lucy
10:30: Welcome Back Kotter
11:00: Dick Van Dyke
11:30: The Odd Couple
12:00: The Munsters

I think it would be a great idea but I don't think N@N cares anymore.

An excellent idea, I think. Be nice if Nick at Nite actually gave this some thought!

That is a good idea, but there is no way N@N will actually do anything like that.

when Nickelodeon turned 20 in 1999, they brought back all their classic shows, ala You Can't Do That On Television, etc.. for a one-time only affair, so I wonder they could the same with N@N

I love the idea. It would be great if they could care enough to do it.

N@N plans to celebrate its 20th anniversary by airing a special marathon called "How we went from being a great network to being the Cosby/Roseanne channel"

That's a GREAT idea, Buffy. I remember the summer before I got TVLand (summer 2001), they aired a 48-hour marathon for their own 5th anniversary. There was soooooo much good stuff on it. I was crying because I didn't have TVLand! I hope they do something similar for their 10th anniversary in 2006.

I just hope Nick doesn't do the expected "to celebrate our 20th anniversary, let's air a week-long marathon of Raven-Symone episodes of The Cosby Show, since that's the best series we have ever shown", lol.

Didn't N@N overplay I Love Lucy and The Mary Tyler Moore Show for a time too? I'm sure Cosby isn't the only they've given the special treatment too. Anyway, Cosby got boring after its first run on the channel.
