From Soap News & Scoops:
Ex-Days Star Richard Biggs (Dr. Marcus Hunter) Died! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Richard Biggs passed away on Sat. May 22nd, he died of a stroke at the age of 43 yrs. old. Richard (Rick) Biggs (March 18, 1961 - May 22, 2004) was an American television and stage actor. His notable roles included roles on the soap opera Days of Our Lives as Dr. Marcus Hunter from 1987-1992 and the part of Dr. Stephen Franklin on the science fiction show Babylon 5. Biggs attended UCLA and also had experience performing in Shakespeare plays. Richard Biggs also played the part of Mel's father Prof. Clayton Boudreau on Guiding Light from 2001-2002. This is such sad news, only 43. He was one of my favorites when he was on DAYS. |

I'm glad this has been mentioned here as well, as it was beginning to seem that only us Babylon 5 fans cared. It doesn't seem to have made any news anywhere, and I know the newspapers here in the UK won't be printing any obits.
Rick Biggs was a great guy, really funny and friendly, and it's a hell of a shame, especially since he had such a young family. He was way too young to die.
