hehehe this is totally off topic, but I figured one of you might know the answer...

Umm.... what happens to a car when you accidentally put about a half-pint of oil in the thing where the transmission fluid goes??!

It gets taken to the shop

You might call first and see if driving it will screw up the tranny....you might need a tow. This is one of those things that could be nothing or could be disasterous....I don't know, I'm not a mechanic, but I would imagine you probably need to drain the transmission fluid & have it replaced.

After I posted this, my brother had actually talked to one of his friends who knows stuff about cars, and i guess it's not really harmful to the car at first, but the transmission fluid should be drained and replaced because it shouldn't be driven that way for a long period of time...

Hey, my brother was the one who told me to put the oil in the wrong place. hahaha! I'll just blame him for it when my parents get back from vacation.

hehe nah, I'm too nice to do that..

Well, I did end up pointing out that it was my brother's fault. hehe. my parents got back from vacation, so I told my Dad what we did to thecar, and then he started yelling, so I was like, "Danny was the one who told me to put the oil in there!!!" and then my Dad started laughing.
