Default It was clear that the Housing Projects were only 8 to 9 Floors high in the opening

credits which leads to a NEW Inconsistency. In the episode-The Visitor, Florida, James, and Willona all say they walked up 17 floors because the elevator wasn't working. Those Buildings were not 17 floors high in the opening credits-lol

Another good catch. Here in NYC the projects are not high enough to have 17 floors, maybe 8-10 instead. I don't know about Chicago but I'm guessing they would be comparable to here. The 17 flights thing was a joke, but having to climb 9 flights would still have gotten the point across. 17 story apartments tended to be for people who were not poor.

Realistically, I don't think anyone can walk up 17 flights-LOL

Wink

I might disagree. Someone could walk up 17 flights of stairs but not in the course of a half hour t.v show.

Larry's mother didn't look so tired after walking up 17 flights. She told Florida, "Thank you for the coffee and the 17 floor climb".
