Default Two Episodes that most GT fans will not be interested in watching on season 3 DVD

THe Baby-when Loretta has her Baby in the Evans Apt. James is not in this episode

The episode with Old Man dying on New Years Eve-Depressing ending and also James is not in this episode.

No, because I like the show and don't use silly reasons like "James is not in this episode" to determine whether or not it'll be enjoyable.

Methinks that TVShow Analyzer just has the need to post and sometimes can't come up with topics that are pertinent, so he/she will post items that have never occurred to the other fans.

It's understandable, since it can sometimes spark conversation, but sometimes the topics are a bit of the 'who cares' realm. Topics like: 'Why did James wear a red shirt in episode 7 when in other episodes he wears blue?' just opens himself/herself up for lambasting and scrutiny. (SIDE NOTE: He never posted a message about James wearing a red shirt. I'm just using it as an example)

Still, I know his/her heart is in the right place and I commend him for at least trying. Sometimes these boards lack life on them, but that's to be expected since the board is on a show that went off the air in the 70s. Still, sometimes it might be better to not post at all unless the topic is of general interest; otherwise one runs the risk of being flamed. I don't condone flaming myself, since I feel everyone has the right to have their say, but others on the 'net are not nearly so kind or tolerant. Besides, it could make one look like they have way too much time on their hands.

Just a thought...

As do I, but the majority of them have been by you. But I'm not saying it bothers me one bit. In fact, I remember a few posts that we've exchanged on the boards, especially the one about whether The Ropers and Three's a Crowd would ever see a DVD release. That was very interesting and it was kind of neat to see other people's theories on why it would or wouldn't be released.

I've just noticed that a few times you've gotten some nasty responses on some of your posts, and I'm just trying to pass on a suggestion that could help avoid it. Me personally, I'm not bothered by your posts or anyone else's. If a title doesn't grab my attention, I simply ignore it, but others are not nearly so kind. And because I think well of you, I thought I'd make the effort to give you my suggestion, that's all.

Please don't take my suggestion to mean that I'm criticizing or demeaning you. That is not my intent and the reason I'm even suggesting this is so others won't put you down either.

The purpose of this post was to see how many people dislike the eps THE BABY and A PLACE TO DIE. I know everyone who buys the season 3 DVD will watch them anyway, i just wanted to see how many fans feel those eps are boring since John Amos does not appear.

Don't you think you should have elaborated a bit more if that was indeed the purpose of your post? The thread heading is " Two Episodes that most GT fans will not be interested in watching on season 3 DVD" which 1. doesn't ask how many people dislike those episodes and 2. mistakenly speaks for "most GT fans" when that's not the case.

Well, I like pretty much every episode from the 3rd season. I can't say I dislike any of them. I love The Baby, especially at the end when Florida hangs up the phone near the end.

A Place to Die is a very moving episode and one I adore.

Michael's Big Fall is one episode that I like the least from this season.
