I voted never jumped. Season 9 wasn't that great, but that was mostly in comparison to seasons 2-8 before it, season 9 was still decent

I think seasons 1-6(1979-85) were the best, for my money!

I had to vote season 8. I can't have the screen name I have and NOT vote 8. I don't think it's possible!

I voted for when the setting was moved from Eastland to Edna's Eddibles, though I'm sure that's not when it actually happened, that's just when the main decline started, and the years at Eastland were the shows best, IMHO. However, I think that the show didn't hit rock bottom until Edna's Eddibles burned down and they built that new store instead. Then the introduction of Bev and Andy just about killed what little life was left in it. I can't remember, where they in the reunion episode? BTW, that reunion to me was extreamly dissapointing.

Season 7, if for no other reason than I could never really get into
that new "Rock" version of the opening theme song. |
