Carol Shelly (who played Gwen Pigeon) was interviewed by the local news media here in NYC. She said Tony was a fantastic actor and even a better person with such a suave disposition. She really looked good; albeit much older. I never realized she has had such a long and successful career on Broadway.

The pigeon sisters always annoyed me, but that sounded like a nice tribute.

It was very nice. Plus her voice was not as high pitched as it was in the show. I guess that is a fact of her age.

Or maybe her voice never was really that high and she just exagerated it for acting purposes.
