Rumor: Franklin gettting his own spinoff - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Maybe i dreamed this but i thought i heard somewhere that ABC might do a spinoff show as a possible mid season replacement with Franklin in the lead. Did anyone else hear this??

If Franklin gets his own show, somebody at ABC should be shot LOL. That little boy gets on my nerves.

I have not heard that! I personally don't think he should have his own spin-off because he just aint funny! lol

I haven't heard that at all, but it'd be cool if it's true. He's my favorite character on My Wife & Kids. If he got a spinoff I'd watch his show and give up MWAK.

He could spinoff on NicK@Nite but ABC WHY?? He only a child. I'm starting to warm up to now. He only annoys me with that Alfalfa routine with Kady!! UUUGGG!

I think that's what gets me the most. I don't think it's cute anymore. It really got old.

That would be the LAST thing that anybody at ABC should consider. Franklin has worn out his wlecome on My Wife and Kids, as he now poses as a threat to the show's future.

I understand that Franklin was needed initially to keep Kady a part of the show. But now they're doing too much. He's appeared in almost EVERY episode this season, even when he wasn't really needed. He's not that cute, and he's not even very funny. I also hate it when Michael is asking for advice from him; it just makes him look stupid.

I was seriously hoping that Franklin wouldn't even be seen this season, but unfortunately, we're stuck with the little brat for the duration of the show's run.

I for one DO NOT want to see a Franklin spin-off. ABC is already in enough trouble with their programs without giving double-triple endorsements to an annoying kid.

well if giving him his own show gets him off my wife and kids then i'm all for it!

his character is too ridiculous. he's too smart for his age and junior is too dumb for his age.
