Default TV Land Cutting Entire Scenes Of Episodes

It was from the episode O Brother Part I. It aired on the local channel 51 here. That whole scene isn't shown on TVLand/N@N. Here's some info. on the signature: Andy is sitting at the kitchen table and he is peeling off labels of cans. Alex comes in and questions Andy about it, then Alex and Andy pick up all the cans and before they can go and hide the cans Elyse comes in and questions Alex and Andy. They go to put the cans in the pantry area and Elyse is behind them they turn around and run toward the swinging door, and exit the kitchen and Elyse runs after them through the swinging door, then Steven and his brother Rob enter(which is where TVLand picks up.

Many avid TV watchers here have problems with the way TV Land/N@N chose to edit their shows. It really makes me angry when you see a scene in the credits of a Family Ties episode that TV Land/N@N edited out. I wish a local station would air it in my area.

By the way, where did you get your quote from FT for your signature? I want a new one for mine, but I don't want to have to go through my tapes to find one unless it is absolutely necessary.

That can peeling thing happened in another episode too I think because TV Land does show that one. But I don't remember the scene you are describing because TV Land doesn't show it. You are lucky to have FT on one of your local stations at a nice hour.

I can post some quotes from that channel if you want to make your signature or a quote from the TVLand version of FT. It's interesting to see what seems like "new" scenes, even though they are part of the original episodes. I guess it just seems like they are new because the syndication cuts for that channel are different.
I liked in the episode when Alex brings a bowl into the livingroom with the contents of the cans except for peaches, which Elyse wanted to gmake something that she needs peaches for.

Alex: This is what I like to call everything, but peaches. Put some salad dressing on these vegies and they take off ask them.

Jennifer & Mallory: Mmmm.

That's in the TVLand version also.
Yeah, I saw that part on TV Land. All they show though is one sceen with the cans and the living room scene I think...
