Nancy's stare freaks me out

The other day, I was watching Comfort and Joy, and was watching the one scene where she was sitting across from a dude with a wireless telephone headset and they were in this well lit room both sitting on this table, and the one thing I noticed was Nancy's eyes. They were a peircing silver color, kind of like the same silver as my Sony VCR and Silver Sony headphones. I even put the silver headphones up to my eye and seen the scene at the same time when I paused that scene on my VCR and they both pretty much matched in color. Plus her silver eyes looked hollow and soulless. It was like I was looking straight through her and into the other side. It was really freaky. It's just that silver eyes freak me out. And the bad thing about it was that the color was her real color, because everytime she turned her head in that 1 minute scene and turned her eye towards her nose, you could see her pupil closest to her ear, which means the iris is real and not fake. Her eyes freak me out when they turn silver. It looks almost as if she came from another planet.

I think it is teh lighting. Her eyes might just change color. Its the way her eyes are. I think they are sea green. Abd have different affect in lighting. B/c I really paid attention in her movies and really looked and her eyes have always been same.

Irish_Rose_Kate, you're wrong. Hazel eyes are eyes that are medium brown to light brown to yellowish brown.They don't change past yellowish-brown. Amber and gold are the lightest they'll get. So you claim that hazel eyes change colors because of pigment flucuations, and all eyes do the same because of the same thing, pigment flucuations, then it's true that brown eyes can turn blue, maybe even gray and green. The Crystal Gale song "Don't it make my brown eyes blue" must be naturally true.

One of the most interesting philosophies built on this perception is known as the theory of Gaia, a belief that all life on Earth is part of one huge living organism, known as Gaia. I have often pondered the role of mankind in the Gaian web of life, and from this photo-essay's perspective, the conclusions are quite interesting. Our world is composed of the same primary colors as can be found in the human eye, and clear analogies can be drawn. The fertile land is brown. The swirling seas are blue. The covering clouds are white. And yet brown and blue eyes are abundant, and green eyes are rare, as Life itself is rare, and the mark of Life is Green. One could describe the entire planet and certain types of green eyes in the same way: "The great sphere spins slowly in its orbit, following a source of light. Seen from afar, the observer first sees white, then brown or blue. But its true uniqueness among all others of its kind are the patches of green dotting the surface."

Green has so many meanings. In Islamic countries it is considered to be a holy color. In Cantonese and Mandarin, the word for "Green" has the same sound as the word for "Prosperity", a pun and usage dating as far back as the Ming Dynasty. In the United States, green is the color of money. In jewelry, green is the color of emeralds and of jade, often a symbol of wealth and power. In all of these examples, green is a color with strong connotations. And in all eyes, it is a color which can cause strong emotions.

And so in this work, we attempt to bring to you these strong emotions, stirred by eyes of emerald and jade, olive and grass, aquamarine and beryl. As green eyes are celebrated in myth and legend, in song and dance, in poetry and verse, in romance and in love. MinnIeMcKeOn, don't forget, her eyes become gray at night. It's on everything she's been in from Facts of Life through her movies to The Division today. And it has nothing to do with light. It's just it becomes gray at night.

One thing that I just want to add is that the clothing you wear effects your eye color. Yesterday, I was getting ready for our 8th grade dance and had on a sorta purple dress which made my blue eyes stand out.

So maybe brown eyes can turn blue, or green, with just the proper clothing. For some strange reason, I was able to turn my chocolate brown eyes green by putting on a greenish-blue shirt, then blue by putting on a bright-light blue shirt. See. Naturally, my eyes are chocolate-brown.
