hi, i am currently using memorex 120 minute 4.7 dvd-r discs. i have noticed some traders use 6 hour discs. what do you use or recommend? thanks

I don't care what the source material is, six hour discs are not the way to go. I generally make my discs between SP and LP (3 hours), unless a trader requests otherwise.

All discs (except for RAM) are 4.7GB. It's not the discs but the amount of compression you use that determines how much recording time you get.
I agree with Nanny except to say that I don't use anything less than 2.5 hour speed. But why don't you try using the higher compression modes on your machine and see what you think of the quality? |
