I heard a few rumors after the episode aired, but never noticed it before.

Word was, Jennifer Aniston was a fan of S&TC so they worked out a brief cameo for her, playing the starving artist at the exhibition where Carrie meets Aleksandr. I didn't really pay attention when it aired and I was unaware, however, with the season 6, pt. 1 DVD, I could pause one of the close-ups, and I also think it's Jennifer Aniston.

Has she ever confirmed or denied this cameo appearence rumor? It does sound like something Jennifer would do, as she did a voice-cameo on South Park a few years back.

Yes, Jennifer Aniston did made a cameo in the episode. She was on another TV show, "Friends".
