Marques Houston returning to tv? - Sitcoms Online Message Boards

Anyone caught tonight's episode of "One on One?" Featuring special guest star Marques Houston. If you saw the episode, the main character of One on One barely appeared in the episode, and it focused mostly on Marques' character, and the characters in a barbershop/beauty salon. Which of course means they are trying to do a spinoff.

Who knows if this sitcom gets off the ground, but Marques Houston might have a sitcom on UPN this fall.

He would probably do better on t.v. From what I've read he doesn't do well in selling millions of CD's.

In movies. He will be on the live action "Fat Albert" movie. He will play the guy with the big thing over his head, I forgot what his name was, Dumb Donald or something, but anyway, that's where he is recently.

i hope he comes back, cuz his solo project was well...it mostly sucked lol

I have seen a few episodes of this show. Does anyone else think Marques' character is a jerk?

On Sister Sister, his character was likeable, in the early seasons, I felt sorry for Roger. On Sister Sister, his character was a nice guy.

As oppose to Cuts, this character is a jerk.

Cuts recieved the pink slip from the CW and will not be returning. Not saddened by this, the show was horrible.
